TERMS OF SALES
Article 1: This contract is intended for the exclusive use of the reservation of stays in guest rooms approved by the departmental or interdepartmental antenna territorially competent in the name of the National Federation of Gîtes de France. In any case the National Federation of Gîtes de France can not be held liable for the use of its contracts by third parties or for non-tourism purposes.
The best welcome will be reserved for guests. The owner agrees to ensure their welcome with all the necessary attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.
Article 2 - length of stay: The client signing this contract concluded for a specified period shall in no circumstances be entitled to any right to maintain the premises.
Article 3 -conclusion of the contract:The reservation becomes effective when the customer has sent to the owner a deposit of 25% of the total amount of the price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room selected and a copy of the contract signed before the date indicated on the front. The second copy of the contract is to be retained by the customer. The prices include all charges included in the description, excluding tourist tax.
Article 4 - Absence of withdrawal: For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, and this in accordance with Article L121-20-4 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to provision of accommodation services provided on a specified date or period.
Article 5 - cancellation by the customer: Any cancellation must be notified by letter, or fax addressed to the owner.
a) Cancellation before the beginning of the stay: if the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the beginning of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner.
If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner who will also ask for the payment of the balance of the price of the stay.
b) If the client does not show up before 7 pm on the day of the beginning of the stay, the present contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his bed and breakfast. The deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the stay.
c) In case of shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay remains fully acquired to the owner.
Additional services not consumed will be refunded.
Article 6 - cancellation by the owner: When before the beginning of the stay, the owner cancels this stay, he must inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
The customer, without prejudging recourse for the repair of any damage suffered, will be refunded immediately the sums paid. He will also receive compensation at least equal to the penalty he would have incurred if the cancellation had been made by him on that date.
Article 7 - arrival: The client must appear on the specified day and at the times mentioned on this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the customer must inform the owner.
Article 8 - payment of the balance: The balance is to be paid on arrival at the owner. Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract will be paid at the end of stay to the owner.
Article 9 - tourist tax: The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner who then transfers it to the Treasury.
Article 10 - use of the premises: The client must respect the peaceful character of the premises and use them according to their intended purpose. He is committed to making the rooms in good condition.
Article 11 - capacity: This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner is able to deny additional customers.This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in case of departure of a number of customers higher than those refused, no refund can be considered.
Article 12 - animals: This contract specifies whether or not the customer can stay with a pet. In case of non-compliance with this clause by the customer, the owner may refuse the animals. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of contract on the initiative of the owner, so that in case of departure of the customer, no refund can be considered.
Article 13 - disputes: Any complaint relating to the inventory must be submitted to the departmental or interdepartmental branch of the Gîtes de France within three days of the date of the beginning of the stay. Any other claim relating to a stay must be sent by letter, as soon as possible to the departmental office of Gîtes de France, competent to issue a proposal for an amicable agreement.These provisions do not prejudge any legal actions brought by the client or the owner.
